This series is really sapping emotions out of me.
All I can say about this test was ,India never looked in a place to win this one,their bowling was below standards ,batting ''which is supposed to be the forte of Indian Cricket'' is struggling ''infact struggling is an understatement with the amount of DUCKS visible on the Indian score card''.
Full marks to South Africa in all the departments ,they really came back strong on the Indians and in every right they deserved to win this one.
Eveything said and done ,I would like to make a mention of Shreeshant ,this guy really showed the courage in times of adversity ,only luck didnt favour him this time else we could have had a draw on our hands all thanks to the one man army called Shreeshant.

700 WICKETS FOR MR.WARNE
SHANE WARNE 's Cricketing career has not been free of controversies and scandals,the lowest point of his career was when he was charged with 1 year ban for failing a Dope test during the 2003 World Cup.
But he bounced back,setting aside the termoil in his personal life. AND all this had only made him go from strenght to strenght .
After the 3th test of the Ashes ,Shane had announced his retirement.
AND the 4th test was a very special game for him as we was playing on his home ground for the last time and also achieved the milestone of taking 700 test wickets .
AUSTRALIA LEADS THE ASHES SERIES 4-0 AGAINST ENGLAND ,hoping for a clean sweep
JANUARY 2,2007 WILL BE THE DATE ON WHICH CURTAINS WILL BE CLOSED, ON YET ANOTHER LEGEND IN THE GAME OF CRICKET.AND I AM SURE HIS NAME FROM THE RECORDS BOOKS WON'T BE EASILY REPLACED.

He played a crucial role in lifting up the spirits of the Indian team and also uprooting the South African wickets both in the 1st and 2nd innings.

''I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH GANGULY'',UNLESS AND UNTIL INDIA IS WINNING
Personally I am not a big fan of SAURAV GANGULY ,as a matter of fact I didnt even support the decision of the selectors of including him in the test team.
BUT after his performance in the practise match and the first test '' both of which INDIA WON'' I have no problems with him,infact I congratulate him for his comeback and I just hope the luck which he has bought to the team remains for the days to come.

AND THE BASHING CONTINUES
Firstly,India does not even make it to the semi-final stage of the ICC Champions Trophy which coincidentally was being played in India, then it again looses to a second string South African team in a practise match, then in the 2nd ODI(the first one was abandoned due to rain) India gets all out at a score of just 91 runs,''till this moment we all held our patience'' .''WE thought that India is just going throught a rough patch and it would bounce back''.
BUT the dismil performance of India in the 3th ODI has really bought shame on the faces of every cricket fan in this country. AT one point of time South Africa were at 76-6 ,and from their on they went on and made 274 in their allorted 50 overs. AND India's poor show with the bat continued and eventually they lost by 106 runs.
IS India the same team which has the likes of ''the great'' Sachin Tendulkar 'who just walks on the pitch to make 2 runs, or the famously called ''the wall'' our captain Rahul Dravid who of late is made of sugar glass,and the list also includes the likes of Virender Sehwag whos loosing his hair and his form almost on the same pace and '' Mahe '' our very own Mr.Dhoni whos busy with grooming his hair than grooming his skills on the cricket field.Then theirs Kaif whos house was stoned according to some media reports ''I guess a really angry fan must have done it after galloping a bottle of alcohol just to forget India's performance.
What can I say about the bowlers ,Zaheer Khan came back with a bang after being dropped on several ocasions, I guess to make others play well ,we should treat them the same way and then they can take tips from him on how to hold a ball .
In the past few days some interesting personalities of Indian politics have expressed their concerns or may I say have made the poor show of Indian Cricket Team their political agenda .
They even had an arguement over this issue in the parliament'' makes me wonder who useless and concerned they are about the country,everyday farmers are comminting suicides and these people who supposidely are the leaders of INDIA, discuss the efficiency of Greg Chapple .
Some people are demanding Sharat Pawars resignation ,''does he play on the field ,does he make the team strateges ,then why pick on him;these issues never arose when India was winning,
And them their are stories about Greg Chapple being planted by the Australian Cricket Board to dismantle the Indian Cricket.'' hahaha PJ '' ,how can one even imagine such stuff ??
THEIR were smiles everywhere when Chappel bought Pathan up the order and India won quite a few matches with him being the main contributor,then why in the world, is his so called ''experiments'' now being targetted and talked about at lenght on tv channels with everybody big and not-so-big in the cricketing world having their opinion on it .
And in the 3TH ODI Dinesh Kartik ''who is a wicket-keeper'' was bought at number 3 , everybody is blaming Greg Chappel for it, is he the only one who makes all the decisions and strategied for team India, I am sure he had full backing of Rahul Dravid and the team management then why blame only him.
AND now the only solution which we can think about of is ''BRING BACK GANGULY''??
but will this work ,I think this would be an addition to already out of form bunch of players.
SO ,my fellow Indians stop blaming the sun, the moon,the earth for India's loosing streak and get on with your own lifes and try to forget cricket for the time being '' i kno its tough but we can still try'' and take up a new sport or a new hobby which doesn't make our blood boil when a Sachin or a Dhoni gets out on a duck.!!!

BASHING TEAM INDIA
I am a big cricket fan like every INDIAN is this country and WOULD really like India winning but this is something I feel as a fan of Indain cricket for the past 18 years.
Enough is enough
Indians are often accused of not supporting their team in times of crisis,but this time around team India really needs a bashing from the public, becuase I think this is our right ,these cricketers earn around 65 lakhs per match (yup its true,this includes all the money they get from BCCI, team sponsors,event sponsors,and of course their personal sponsors )
AND 95% of the Indian population doesn't even earn this amount of money even after working thier asses off for an entire year, on top of that lets not be shy in saying that CRICKET is our favorite form of entertainment.And when we do not get our entertainment we are bound to get angry.
90% of the revenue in International cricket today comes from India, the Board of Control of Cricket in India popularly known as BCCI is on of the richest sports bodies in the world,then also they cannot produce a team which is good and atleast wins a few matches. Where the deck is all that money going if we have such a awful bunch of players representing a country like India where every child's dream is to become a Sachin or a Dhoni.
Now a days we see more of DHONI AND DRAVID in the commercials that on the cricket pitch,and I think money is becoming more and more important for them as compared to the love of the game . I think they better change their profession to acting.
With the world cup coming next year,if this loosing streak continues then i think we won't be able to reach the quater finals also.
AS I FAN I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED FROM THE SHARE LACK OF COMMITMENT TEAM INDIA IS SHOWING .

INDIA IN SOUTH AFRICA
INDIA BEGINS ITS SOUTH AFRICAN CAMPAIGN TODAY,
LEAVING BEHIND THE MEMORY OF THE HORRIFYING LOSS AGAINST A SECOND STRING SOUTH AFRICAN TEAM DURING THE PRACTISE MATCH.
INDIA has not being performing well in the past few months now,mainly due to the batsmen ,as some of the top order batsmen are struggling with injuries and bad form.
I just hope this tour some joy to the fans like me and India bounces back to its winning streak
